Taurus Season has conjured the Wheel of Fortune and what an appropriate card for this season! The Wheel of Fortune is part of the Major Arcana in tarot which means it’s a main archetype that embodies big themes in our lives which include: the introduction of change, the cycles of life, and reversals of fortune. In the Raider Waite illustration of the Wheel of Fortune card there are four winged animals, each associated with the four fixed signs of the Zodiac: the angel represents Aquarius, the eagle represents Scorpio, the lion for Leo, and the bull is Taurus. Their wings signify stability amidst movement and change, and each holds a book, representing wisdom. The Wheel of Fortune indicates some big changes are likely to come about this Taurus Season. Uncertainty will be a strong theme, however the fixed energy of Taurus will bring a stabilizing balance to the winds of change the Wheel of Fortune will be kicking up. Taurus reminds us to enjoy the comforts and beauty of life all while taking it easy. This will be a great time to focus on self care, as well as healthy routines. This will help keep you grounded during the twists and turns the Wheel of Fortune will serve. The energy of Taurus will be a great support as we move through the transitions indicated by the Wheel of Fortune. Be open to change, however focus on what is real and true for you. Listen to the promptings of your inner compass when uncertainty is in the air. To stay grounded work with Earth elements like: crystals, plants, salt, water, flowers, and soil. The New Moon in Taurus on April 22nd is a great time to plant a garden or re-pot house plants. Taurus New Moon energy is also a great time to “plant” seeds of intention for the summer months ahead.
