Leo Season has conjured the Nine of Cups and what an appropriate card for this season! The Nine of Cups is part of the Minor Arcana which represents the trials and tribulations of everyday life surrounding: gratitude, fulfillment, satisfaction, wishes come true, blessings, splurging, indulging, and enjoying life’s pleasures. This includes enjoying good food, appreciating the arts, relaxing and experiencing beauty. Which play perfectly with Leo Season’s themes of: creativity, fun, and luxury. It is also a card of emotional happiness and fulfillment which is enjoyed alone. Understanding and learning how to celebrate these aspects of life in solitude is aligned with the experience many of us will face this Leo Season.

The first day of Leo Season, July 22nd we will still be basking in the Cancer New Moon vibes from the 20th of July which is a great time to plant new seeds for the next 30 day cycle ahead. This is the second Cancer New Moon in a row for 2020 the first being on June 20th, the day Cancer Season began. We still have 5 planets in retrograde (Pluto, Saturn, Venus, Jupiter, and Neptune), as well as Chiron (a comet) that are asking us to slow down to reflect, rejuvenate, re-think, and re-strategize many aspects of our life. The Nine of Cups’ message for Leo Season 2020 is to utilize all this retrograde energy to be grateful for the life you have created thus far. Acknowledge and count your blessings as this is a time to appreciate the world you have created around you. This is also a time to identify the things you would like to heal, change, repair, or re-create in your world. This Leo Season adopt an attitude of gratitude concerting every aspect of your life. Seeing everything through a lens of gratitude, even trials and challenges will help you to transmute heavy energy that no longer serve you. When we see the bounty and abundance of life we align and agree with that vibration. It is imperative to align with the vibration of abundance and prosperity in order to attract more. This flow cannot continue until appreciation for what is currently in your life is perceived through gratitude. Use the magic of gratitude to transmute old energies while making space for the new. Leo is symbolized by the Lion who is generous, hospitable, caring and warm, as well as a courageous leader and comfortable in the spotlight as Leo is ruled by fire. Attract great things this Leo season by filling yourself with gratitude for your current life. The fire of Leo Season will support your confidence even when things may seem uncertain.  The creative energy is strong this Leo Season so take this opportunity to lean into your passions to create whatever your heart desires.
